Ordered the fire cracker with prawns for the first time and it was so tasty. It’s very flavourful and spicy which I appreciate 😍
This restaurant has asian food inspired by the flavours of japan. It has a separate vegan & vegetarian menu for all the veggie people out dere. Unique taste n unusual food. I have ordered :-
1.YASAI STEAMED GYOZA( mix vegetable steamed dumplings, served grilled with a dipping sauce).
2.YASAI SAMLA CURRY(A fragrant spicy lemongrass n coconut curry with tofu, peppers served wd hot white rice and garnished wd spring onions chilli and coriander.
3.YASAI PAD THAI(Rice noodles in an amai sauce wd tofu, beansprouts, leeks, chilli n red & spring onions, garnished with fried shallots, peanuts, mint, coriander n fresh lime.
4.CHOCOLATE LAYER CAKE:-Layers of chocolate sponge, dark chocolate parfait n hazelnut cream served wd vanilla ice cream.
The food was overall healthy n delicious as dis was our 1st time in a Japanese restaurant n services was a bit slow, can't blame as it was too crowded. Ambience is okay nothing great to talk about. Wud love to visit again. The food is on a pricier side, but can try once.
First time experience: The food came out quite fast, we ordered a raisukaree and teriyaki soba with chilli squid as a starter. The curry was very tasty with lots of tangy and exotic flavours so we enjoyed that. The teriyaki soba has to be a favourite with its exquisite taste. The ambience was calm yet vibrant and the staff were friendly.
Second time experience: Had to go back to Wagamama as we were craving the chilli squid. Once again very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Of course the squid was amazing as per. Ordered a chicken katsu curry this time and must say we were slightly disappointed. There was a lack in that exciting burst of flavours and the meal just seemed abit bland. The chicken was flavourless and not soft so this was abit of a let down!
